The major entertainment for the year will be the Kaiaua Country Music Festival which will be held on SUNDAY 26 February 2012 from 11.00 to 4.00 pm. The festival is located in the centre of the township - at the Bay View Hotel and grounds, and across the road in the superb reserve at the Kaiaua Boating Club.

Great Country Legends, Dennis Marsh, Toni Williams and Eddie Low, supported by local Country bands, will be the main attractions on the Bay View side of the Hauarahi Stream, and the well known country singer Joy Adams will headline the area by the Boating Club - with tributes to Roy Orbison and Connie Francis.

The Garden Bar behind the Bay View Hotel will host a cover band which will play most of the day. There will also be other entertainment including a mechanical bull, many food stalls and a limited number of craft stalls. You will be able to move around enjoying the sights freely, or alternatively sit, relax and enjoy the music.

Parking

Parking is available and FREE at the Domain which is located beside the local fire station on Pohutukawa Ave, and also behind the local tennis court on Kaiaua Rd.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased at the gate on the day, as well as online at Ticketmaster for pre bookings.
Entry fee at the gate is $20 per per person, children 15 and under free.
An Eftpos facility will be available for ticket sales only. Eftpos cash withdrawals are available at the Bay View Hotel.
